Unjust Desserts

The fire elemental set the bears that Aust conjured on fire, and the heat from the creature was setting things around it on fire. In the next room Morisha struggled to get out of the carpet. Honkess fired arrows into the carpet and Blueterion cut at the carpet with her axe, but for every bit of damage the carpet took so did Morisha. the rug gave one last squeeze and Morisha passed out. Honkess knew Morisha was dying and that she had to do something. Blueterion grabbed hold of the carpet and that is when Honkess cut the rug into dozens of pieces with a flurry of her blades.

Aust, and shadow tried throwing bottles of spoiled wine at the fire elemental and the water seemed to have some effect on it. Both of them were taken fire damage but they were somehow managing to keep the fiery beast at bay. Honkess managed to get to Morisha before she died and gave her a healing potion. After some more fighting the fire elemental was defeated.

The group searched the secret room and found some treasure inside. With everybody hurting badly they decided to take a rest and get some needed sleep. Honkess decided to make a small private space with a bookshelf. It was a setup that the gelatinous cube overhead could not ignore. While the others slept the cube dropped on Honkess. Aust with his incredible sense of hearing heard the rangers struggling and muffled cries. The group was once again fighting, this time it was Honkess that was trapped. the group could see the acid of the gelatinous cube eating at their friend.
