Thejun Takes the Lead
Session 2
NEW CAMPAIGN

Thejun had an unshakable feeling that he could guide the group back to safety and the city, despite their precarious situation in the labyrinthine caverns. Trusting his instincts, he carefully chose paths that led them steadily upward. The group's journey brought them to a massive cave, its ceiling stretching high above and several ominous tunnels branching out from the main chamber.
Thejun sensed something was amiss and alerted the group, his keen druidic senses prickling with unease. Johnathan, ever the cautious rogue, decided to scout ahead. As he crept towards one of the tunnel entrances, he slipped on some wet rocks, losing his footing. Two goblins, lying in wait, seized the opportunity and leaped out, weapons drawn and intent on killing Johnathan.
The group sprang into action, their battle-honed reflexes kicking in. Vorden charged forward with his shield raised high, engaging one of the goblins in a fierce duel. His sword flashed in the dim light, striking down the goblin with a single, powerful blow. Sinas followed closely behind, his mace delivering a crushing blow to the second goblin. The creature, wounded but not defeated, fled into the darkness, its cries echoing through the cavern.
The group quickly regrouped, realizing they needed to make a decision before the goblin's reinforcements arrived. They could hear the distant sounds of goblins approaching, the clattering of armor and guttural shouts growing louder. Thejun took charge, his voice calm but urgent. "Follow me if you want to survive!" he commanded.
With Thejun leading the way, the group sprinted down a narrow tunnel, their footsteps echoing off the stone walls. The path grew tighter until they reached a narrow crevice, just wide enough for them to slip through. Sinas and Vorden, with their larger frames, required a few good shoves and some coordinated effort to squeeze through the small opening, but they managed it just in time. Sniddet cast an illusion spell, expertly concealing the route they had taken from any pursuing goblins.
Emerging on the other side, the group found themselves at the base of a steep cliff. They scaled the rocky face with determination, each member lending a helping hand to ensure everyone made it to the top. The goblin threat was successfully evaded, for now.
Breathless but resolute, the group peered over the edge and saw a goblin camp below, led by a formidable bugbear. The group decided to strike with the element of surprise. They descended upon the camp with the stealth and precision of seasoned adventurers. Vorden's war cry signaled the start of the assault, his sword cleaving through goblin ranks. Sinas summoned divine energy, his mace glowing with holy light as he struck down foes. Sniddet unleashed a barrage of arcane spells, while Johnathan moved like a shadow, his daggers finding their mark with deadly accuracy, while Shadow's fists and feet became a blur of motion, delivering incapacitating blows.
The bugbear leader, though powerful, was no match for the combined might of the group. After a fierce and grueling battle, the bugbear fell, and the remaining goblins scattered in fear. The group stood victorious, having once again proven their mettle and unity in the face of danger.
