The Night of Undead

Addelin awoke in what she assumed by the smell was a basement. She was not bound but her mace and shield had been taken from her. There was a door at the other end of the small room and on the other side she could hear voices. She recognized one of the voices as Roland but the other man kept calling him Derreck. The other man made a threat about hurting the old man and Addelin could only assume that he meant Elden Trigg the man that had hired the group to find Roland.

Bob was doing his best to find any sign of Addelin, the expert tracker was finding the city streets difficult to find any sign of their elf friend. Morthos and Chace followed Bob and eventually the sight of Addelin's mace caught his attention. The went down the alley and a short distance away they also found her shield. Bob found what he thought were signs of somebody carrying Addelin and the three friends followed those tracks.

The rest of the group now went out into the street trying to find the rest of the group and pass on what they had found out. They knew Morthos and Bob were going shopping and that Addelin had gone to see Chace so they headed towards the north end of the city in search of their friends.

Addelin tried the door but it was locked. She took a couple steps back took a deep breath and then let loose with her scorching ray spell. The door was blown to pieces and the force of the blow knocked the two men on the other side to the ground. Moving into the room Addelin tried to talk to the two men, one of which was now confirmed to be Roland, but they tried to attack her. Addelin ran past them and up the stairs. She passed through room that had several dead bodies and she knew something horrible was happening in this place. She found a door and ran out into the street just as Bob finished leading the group to the building.

Suddenly the zombies started exiting the house followed by a vampire. The rest of the group heard the fighting and ran to see what was happening. Norbert cast a web spell that held the vampire and zombies in place while the rest of the group attacked. Leomarvis was on the roof firing arrows and taunting the vampire and when the vampire broke free he attacked Leomarvis. Leomarvis was badly injured and fell.

Norbert and Morthos are trying to help Leomarvis, while the rest of the group is in the alley below fighting the zombie hoard. Soldiers from around the city have joined the battle as dozens of undead have started attacking everybody.
