Shadows of Old Gods
Session 3
DIVERGENT CHICKENS

Shadow noticed the symbol on the wall and pointed it out to the rest of the group. Aust surprisingly had seen the symbol before. It was the symbol of an ancient evil order that worshipped the evil god Oroc the Destroyer. The the old evil order eventually disappeared though there are those who claim some form of the group still exists. Knowing now that the symbol represented some sort of evil Shadow pulled out one of his darts and tried to destroy the evil symbol. As soon as his dart hit the stone a jolt of dark energy climbed up his arm and felt as though it stabbed him in the heart. Shadow dropped to the floor in pain.
Once Shadow recovered the group decided that the symbol was best left alone, and they moved on. The came to a room that appeared to be an old dining hall, some old tables and a wine rack were in the room. The wood of the chairs and tables was old and ready to break, the wine on the rack was so old that it had separated and turned to vinegar. The group tried to leave the room through a closed door but the door was stuck. Morisha asked Blueterion to open the door and Blueterion gave it a good shove causing the wood that was catching on the floor stones to break off.
It was then that Shadow found a secret door. He asked Blueterion to open the door and she tried to give shove to open but it would not budge. She stepped back punch the door as hard as she could. The door shattered and inside Shadow found a treasure chest. The group moved on through the tunnels and came across some cultists in black robes. A fight ensued but Blueterion and Aust quickly dispatched with three of the four cultists. One cultist was running away so Shadow through a dart but he threw it too hard and sailed past its intended target and struck something metal in the other room.
Four hobgoblins appeared bows at the ready as well as a wizard. The wizard sent a flaming sphere towards Shadow and the hobgoblins fired arrows. Shadow and Quack! were both badly injured as the cultists seem to have the upper hand. To be continued...
