Seperated

Something strange happened when Aust cast the spell. The spell went off ok but the residual arcane essence hung in the air something Aust had never seen. The aura of magic seemed to spin and then become twisted, and it was the moment before Aust was turned into a giant rat that he realized that his spell had been warped by chaos magic. Mortisha and Shadow found themselves stuck in the bodies of lions but still aware of who they were. Fortunately the mimic had turned into a rat and its bite was no longer as dangerous. The mimic was easily swallowed by the Shadow the lion. Shadow in his lion form decided to lie down and wait, hopefully what ever was happening would wear off.

Aust decided to go see what the others were up to. Blueterion and Honkess had been told by Pryndor, the dragon trapped inside the gem, the command word that would make the table be filled with food. Blueterion decided to order lunch. The table was filled with many of her favourite foods so she sat down to eat. Honkess decided to wait and see if anything bad happened before eating. It was at this point that a giant rat ran into the room. The rat jumped up onto the table and grabbed a knife. It was strange behaviour for a rat and Honkess decided to not take any chances. She fired an arrow at the rat. The rat ran away. It had not occurred to Aust that his friends would attack a giant rat, and he felt lucky to have escaped alive.

With no sign of their friends Blueterion and Honkess decided to head upstairs. Pryndor had told them how to find a secret stairwell. Following his instructions they found the door. Before leaving, Honkess wrote a quick note telling the group that they were headed to the 8th floor to do a ritual that would set Pryndor free. At the top of the stairs Honkess and Blueterion found a hallway, Pryndor told them how to avoid the trap. They were then inside the office of the archmage which was of course filled with magical treasures.

The magic wore off and Aust decided to head back and meetup with the group. Shadow decided to explore more. Aust found the note and went upstairs. Aust did not know about the trap and was blasted by a fireball. He barely survived but met up with the others who were still plundering the archmage's office. They decided to take a rest.

Shadow explored for a bit. He was looking for treasure when some more animated objects attacked him. He took hits but managed to destroy the attacking object. He rested to heal his wounds and then decided to do a little more exploring. Meanwhile the crew on the 8th floor went to collectr things they would need for the ritual.
