Friends

"And then Morisha said, take your crew and go wait outside" said Honkess struggling to get the words out in between laughs "and then he left, like a scolded child" the rest of what she was saying was lost in fit of deep belly laughing". Fen laughed with her. He had begun to fear the worst for the group, and for Quack it had been the worst, but then the returned with an amazing tale to tell. Fen had heard most of it by now, each person telling their favourite part.

"We freed a trapped Great Wyrm and fought a demon, hanging out with all of you has been a lot of fun. I have really enjoyed smashing things with you" said Blueterion.

"Ah you say you fought the demon, but did you destroy" asked Fen.

"As much as one can defeat a demon I suppose" said Morisha. "It will be banished from this world for a hundred years, just long enough that it will be somebody else's problem if it returns".

"Great Frodnonag is gone from our world but you have not yet explained all of how you defeated him".

"With his men gone it was really just us against him" said Aust. "Shadow had beat him when he was in human form but in demon form we knew we would have to help him. Frodnonag was much more than he appeared".

"I am happy that my people are avenged, and this great evil is gone from our world, but I wish I had been able to do more in the fight" said Shadow.

"You did plenty" said Aust "we are a team and we have each others backs. Your fight is was our fight".

"So anyway, enough with the feelings guys. So I chopped the demon with my greataxe, he did not like it. I enjoyed the way he screamed, so I chopped him again" said Blueterion. "Then he made a bunch of smaller demons and I chopped them too".

"He used some sort of strange necrotic energy that hurt us all, but Shadow was still wounded from the fireball and well it nearly killed him" said Morisha.

"Like Aust said, we fought as team. I thought maybe my old radiant bow would hurt a demon but in truth the radiant arrows seemed to heal him. I switched to the bow of Mercy and then peppered him with fire arrows" said Honkess.

"We got to Shadow before he died, and then Morisha hit with a blast of energy and it killed him" said Aust.

The group drank and laughed for several more hours. Fen brought out some food and the friends told and retold parts of their adventures. It was getting late into the evening but nobody seemed to notice. The room would get quiet whenever Quack! was mentioned, but they were all in good spirits. They had started out as strangers really, saving Fen had led to them becoming friends. That is what they were now friends.

There was a knock at the door, "oh who would that be at this time of the evening" said Fen as he maneuvered his chair out into the hallway. From inside the group heard Fen greet whomever was at the door and then went back to discussing their adventure.

Fen returned to the room, "There is an aarokocra warrior at the door, he says his name is Ryan Reynolds and he is here seeking Honkess". Honkess smiled at the group, somehow she felt certain that they would have her back. Things were about to get interesting in they had sent Ryan to find her.
