A Pardon for Leomarvis
Session 26
TROLLSKULL SYNDICATE

The dragon was dead. Their wounds would heal, but they had managed to take out King Krull and the evil dragon that served him. To some extent they had to admit, they had not expected to survive, and now they were uncertain what to do. Mazoga suggested the group come with her, and if not all of them at least Bob, she seemed rather intrigued about Bob. The group discussed a few options and decide to go with Mazoga in the hope that they could gain some new allies. This posed a small problem for Leomarvis.
King Xorag, Mazoga's uncle, still had a bounty on Leomarvis. Mazoga seemed to think that she would be able to smooth things over a bit. On the way towards King Xorag's war camp the group came the crest of a valley and below chaos was reigning among the troops of Krull army. There were fights among the men, and some seemed to be deserting. Bob decided it was a good time to build a snowman. Leomarvis, never one to leave well enough alone, decided to try a new spell he had been working on. He attempted to catapult a stone into the army below, but it being his first time using the spell on a stone this big proved difficult. Rather than catapult down into the army the stone bounced off of a street and ricocheted into the side of the mountain with a thud. Then the snow, and Bob's snowman, started moving down the hill. Below it was pure chaos.
The avalanche had revealed a stone archway and massive stone door. Mazoga believed it could be the lost city of Sagamaru so Argus decided to go in. The hallway was wide with a ceiling of 15 feet or more. Argus found a gem that glowed he kept it. The group was getting restless so he left and they went to see the king. it was several days of travel on foot through deep snow.
The group made it to Xorag's camp and he listened to what happened. He demanded Leomarvis repay him the money Leomarvis had taken for a job he had double-crossed the king on. He also demanded Leomarvis face him in unarmed combat. Leomarvis wanting to allow the king to regain the honour that he lost when he swindled the king agreed. It was a short fight, with the king pummeling the ranger. But honour was restored.
Now they had to figure out a way to stop Faneara and her vampires. It was then that Argus revealed his glowing gem. An item like that might work, but they would need more than one. The group decided to head back to Sagamaru. This time they flew on the backs of wyvern's, courtesy of King Xorag.
