A New Quest

The large ettin seemed very angry that its slumber had been disturbed. The goblin ran away from Aust scurrying into a small hole in the cave wall that was much to small for Aust to get through, even more so while he was in bear form. Aust turned and ran back into the room slamming the door. The last two goblin warriors fell and the group decided to retreat back into the tunnels.

The group went back through the tunnels leaving the way they came. Soon they were on the road back to the city with two prisoners in tow. Once back to Leistar the group turned over Razemfire and his follower and collected their bounty. Afterwards they returned to Fen. Fen was grateful to hand his grandmothers tools back and gave each member of the group a magic item for their help.

He asked the group to meet a friend of his and then introduced to a druid named Zedd. Zedd was a member of the Jade Ravens and was now an arch druid of the circle of the moon. As a member of the Jade Ravens Zedd helped defeat the evil ancient green dragon Garaug-thaul. Zedd is also famous defeating an evil wizard that tried to become a lich. Many members of the Jade Ravens have died since parting ways as a group. Zedd asked the group to help find a stolen totem. Two goliaths named Org and Norg were now holed up in the town of Florida in the north. Zedd was called south and needed help with retrieving the totem. When the group asked about Org and Norg Zedd said in his experience it was best to not leave behind enemies but the group could make their own choices.

The group agreed to take on the task and headed out on the road to Florida. It was a new and exciting day as the group gathered to head on the road again. Equipped with the new items given to them by Fen as reward for retrieving his stolen tools, the group felt more equipped than ever to take on any challenge. Along the road the group came to a small village called Reynolds. They went to the inn where the innkeeper, and man named Ryan Reynolds served the group. His wife Blake took the groups order and brought them their food. They also met Ryan’s cousin who by chance was also named Ryan.

While they were eating two men came into the inn and there was a sudden hush around the room. The two men looked like warriors and were clearly armed. Everybody suddenly stared at their food as if they had just found the most interesting thing ever among their mashed potatoes. The two men ordered food and then sat at a table until they were served. They ate quickly while glowering around the room as if daring the others to say something or challenge them. They left and the group was told by Ryan that they were part of the Grim Forge gang, and that a man named Frodnonag was their leader but also somebody they seemed to fear.

The next day while the group was on the road they cam to a point where some men had blocked the road, including the two men from the tavern the day before. The men demanded payment for the group to pass on the road but the group refused to pay. A fight ensued but ended quickly. Morisha used her cloud of daggers spell to take care of three of them, while Blueterion and Aust took care of the rest. The group pushed on and finally made it to Florida. They were greetd by a friendly man but then Quack! noticed that something was tugging at his coin purse. A child was trying to rob him. Quack!’s panther swatted at the child and as it did the illusion was broken. It was not a child, it was a leathery looking male dwarf. The panther had scratched the man’s face and torn most of the dwarf’s beard off. The dwarf ran as Quack! seethed with anger.
