A Conspiracy

Leomarvis took care of getting rid of the mimics and then went to report what was going on to Chace. He also collected the reward money from Chace. In the morning half of the group went to the old house and investigated the basement. Addelin had received a letter from Chace and gone to see him, while Morthos and Bob went shopping. There they found some old journal entries that indicated there was a group of people that were trying to create mimics. There was information about there being a queen mimic that had escaped and that the queen was somehow spawning more mimics. The situation was strange, and there were more questions than answers at this point. Rayla, Norbert, and Argus went to hunt more mimics while Leomarvis went to a library to see if he could find out more information about mimics.

The three hunting came up with a plan where Argus would be bait and walk through the alleys by himself to see if a mimic would attack. Rayla and Norbert were not far behind and would rush in if a mimic attacked. Their plan worked and Argus was attacked by a mimic. The three managed to kill the mimic quickly and then carried back to the manor so that they could collect the bounty. Leomarvis found that there were two books in the library on mimics but both had been borrowed and never returned.

Morthos and Bob went shopping. During their shopping trip they ran into Chace. Chace had been disappointed that Addelin had not come to see him. Both Bob and Morthos were surprised by this as they knew Addelin had gone to see Chace. With Chace they returned to Renaer Manor to see if Addelin had shown up she had not. Now they would have to go search for Addelin, fearful that something bad might have happened.
